Normandie Heights is a quiet residential pocket in southeast Pasadena. There is no commercial strip, no office park, and no industrial zone. What there is, though, is a lot of people running businesses from inside those homes. Consultants taking calls from a back room, agents working the Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley market, landlords managing rentals, contractors running crews out of a truck parked in the driveway.

We are Pasadena bookkeepers based in Old Town, a short drive from Normandie Heights. We handle monthly bookkeeping, payroll, catch-up work, and advisory support for small operators who need clean books without hiring someone full time. Founded by Dennis, who spent 20 years building accounting functions at large real estate firms before bringing that same discipline to small businesses across Los Angeles County.

A residential neighborhood does not mean there is no business happening. It means the business is quieter and more distributed. Someone has a consulting practice. Someone else owns a couple of rentals in Altadena and Highland Park. Another neighbor runs a small contracting outfit that works the foothill communities. None of them need a downtown firm charging downtown rates, but they all need books that are accurate, current, and ready when the CPA asks.

That is the gap we fill. Established operators doing anywhere from $50K to a few million in revenue, who have outgrown doing it themselves but are not ready to hire a full-time bookkeeper.
